Henderson Executive Airport (KHND)
Scott Bullock started his aviation career in the United States Air Force as an Aircraft Electrical and Environment Systems Specialist ensuring the aircraft were working at the optimal conditions and the Airmen were safe. His job duties included maintenance of crucial items from cabin pressurization to engine control including all of the electrical, heating, air conditioning, and oxygen systems.
Scott retired from the USAF in 2006.
When asked what he was most proud of, Scott replied, “I am most proud of the relationships I've built, both personally and professionally. Everyone has had a hand in the success of this company, and it takes everyone’s contributions to continue that success.” When looking to hire team members, Scott looks for integrity and passion. He does not hire clock punchers, “They have to want to be here.”
Joe Abney started his career in aviation maintenance with the U.S. Air Force in 1981. He was a KC-135 Crew Chief, ISO Inspection Section Chief, Crew Chief, Section Chief, Lead Flightline Production Superintendent, and a Numbered Air Force Staff Member.
After retiring from the U.S. Airforce in 2001, Joe started his civilian aviation maintenance career as an Inspector for a Part 145 Repair Station. Joe has since held positions as Chief Inspector, Quality Manager, and General Manager for other Part 145 Repair Stations.
Raised in New York and graduated from Aviation High School in 1975 with his high school diploma and his A&P certificate. Richard worked for Speeds Flying Service right out of school and went to work for several different companies including the nationally known Skytypers East.
He moved to the Chicago area in the very early 80’s and started working for Priester Aviation where he worked up the ladder to Chief Inspector, Quality Control Manager, and Assistant Shop Supervisor. He married his current wife, Terri, and after 18 years they both work in the aviation field. After 25 years in Chicago, they moved to the Las Vegas Area in 2005.
Working for a small flight school at first, he went on to work for Maverick Airlines for 11 years as the Director of Maintenance. He was also Director of Maintenance for NV Jets and is currently the Chief Inspector for Apex Aviation.

Victor Gonzales hails from the great state of Texas. After a 2-year stint in the mid-west, Victor came to Apex Aviation as our Avionics Manager in which he has raised the bar in everyway.
After 40 years in the Avionics field, Victor has shown integrity and professionalism in every company he has worked with. He plays a vital role in maintaining the vision of excellence, not only to our customers...but to our technicians, ensuring the company runs smoothly while embracing the power of teamwork and mentorship.
Victor has always had a passion for aviation and has worked on many different aircraft including Gulfstream, Beechcraft, KingAir, and Falcons.
Joey Flores has a decade of aviation maintenance experience. Moving from Hawaii to Nevada to join the Apex team 2 years ago, he started as a technician but made his way to maintenance manager through hard work, dedication, and expertise in his field. He has a multitude of aircraft experience working on models from companies like Cessna, Piper and Airbus to name a few.
